Everything came back negative, YAY! Risks for Downs Syndrome went from 1/960 based on age alone to 1/1295 based on my u/s and blood work, so that's great news! My risk for trisomy 13 and 18 is 1/31,000. So good news all the way around.
I also had an OB appt. today and got to hear the baby's heart beat with the doppler, nice and strong! I haven't gained any more weight since my last appointment (thank god) and everything is moving right on track. 5 more weeks until my big u/s, and for someone who had a u/s every 2 weeks (literally!) 5 weeks is a very long time to wait to see baby again. But momma will have to be patient! This is all becoming so real to me now, and I feel like I can kind of relax...at least a little : )
