21 Things You Don't Know About Me

1. I have scoliosis-pretty bad too. I was supposed to wear a brace for 3 years starting when I was 12. I only wore it for 1 because it was pure torture. I pay the price for that decision. That is the single thing I regret in my life. I struggle with chronic pain every day of my life.

2. Salad is my favorite food. Yes, it is possible. I eat at least 1-2 salads per day!

3. My Dad died when I was 3. My step-dad had been  my "dad" since I was 5.

4. I am scared of elevators. Especially small ones. In Italy- I took the stairs a lot!

5. I am a little like Erin Brockovich- I wear what I want and I don't care what people think.

6. My husband is 21 years older than me. Go ahead. Gasp. You know you want to. My dad was 18 years older than my mom. It must run in thr family.

7. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, some in which we may not know for many years after the fact. Even my battle with infertility, as horrible it is- it has made me a better mother and shown me how strong I am.

8. I have absolutely no musical or artist abilities.

9. I honestly cant remember the last time I saw my toes unpainted.

10. I once posed for Playboy. The pictures were never printed.

11. My favorite movie of all time is Casino. I've seen it 546294875839 times. At least.

12. I am very opinionated. Sometimes this is good. Sometimes this is not.

13. I was raised extremely spoiled, but had a very unstructured unstable life bouncing between my grandparents and my mom/step dads. I moved out on my own when I was 16.

14. Because of the above, I strive to be the opposite. I like schedules and routines and my days are exactly that. I think I like it so much so because I never had that.

15. I am not into sweets and don't buy junk food.

16. I wanted to be a Respiratory Therapist growing up and was fascinated by the lungs.

17. I was born in Houston, TX and lived there until I was 5.

18. I think everyone looks better tan (fake tan of course!).

19. Being a mom is my single greatest accomplishment. My kids have given me purpose in life.

20. I am very picky about my pillows! Non one is allowed to touch my (3) pillows! To me it's like someone using my toothbrush...keep your hands (and head) off my pillows!

21. I only wash my hair twice a week.

I love salad! I craved it when I was pregnant.
I once slept with someone 21 years older than me. It was disgusting.
I totally agree with number 7. I also had infertility issues and I'm glad to be having my first at 29.
Number 12 makes you my soul sister.
Number 18: FOR SURE!! Especially if you have a lot of fat, like me.
Number 19: Being a mother is indescribable. There is nothing else like it in the world!

I too have (Had) scoliosis! I wore a brace from 3rd grade to 6th grade and then refused to wear one in junior high because of dressing down in P.E. - everyone would see it. I ended up having to have surgery on my spine, and I'm so glad I did. I hope that you can find a good answer to solve your back pain problems and good luck!

This is a fun post. I like that you admit you arent artistic. Neither am I. And I dont try to be. lol
Playboy! Wowsers!
I think in a wonderful way infertility does make you a better Mom. Not better then fertile Moms just better then you would have been in a different way (if that makes sense).
