I Have a Confession

Last week I ate a Arby's beef and cheddar sandwich 4 days in a row for lunch.

There. I said it.

Yes, I obviously feel off the vegetarian wagon and no I am not proud of it, nor did I really want to. But this baby obviously likes beef and no boca burger, veggie patty, or soy patty was cutting it. BABY WANTED BEEF! So the good mommy that I am gave it to him/her. The funny thing is is that I really don't want to eat it! I have to eat it with my eyes closed (seriously, that is not a joke. I have to eat the whole sandwich with my eyes shut!!!) because I really don't want to do it. But baby was relentless like its mother and sister and was not backing down and I couldn't take it anymore. Sooooo baby got beef.

Once I have this baby I will resume my normal vegetarianism ways.

Whew...I feel better now!

What a good mommy! Like you said, it's all for the baby. But you are a brave one, I wouldn't even eat Arby's! lol

Too funny. I don't even like fast food but for some reason during my pregnancy I have craved (what I like to call) "gross" meats! No lean chicken breast or filet mignon........."gross" meat like a slab of ribs or an Arby's sandwich (yes..I have had one too)! So...I guess we just enjoy this weirdness for a while then swear to never go through the Arby's drive through again! :)

PS - I really enjoy your blog!

That's funny! I eat poultry and fish, but not any red meat (I've been this way for about seven years) and I am DYING for an Arby's roast beef sandwich too. I may have to give in but the thought of it makes me a little queasy :) So far "good" meat sounds gross, but I can't get that roast beef off my mind!!

Lisa-I am having the same thing! Vegetarian for 9 years and all of a sudden I am craving meat meat meat. Particularly Arby's roast beef...how odd! I am fighting the urge...for now. :-)

I had one last week while traveling and it was sooooo good! It's probably a very good thing that we don't have an Arby's in this area or I'd be in trouble.
