First Easter and Easter Firsts

Well first off it was Miss M's first Easter! Although she was not very impressed because all she got to do was sit around and watch big sis have all the fun and wear a entirely too poofy dress (get used to it kid!)!

It was the first time I was able to dress my girls in MATCHING outfits (yes I am a cheese ball). I was excited becauce even with such a big range of sizes I was able to buy a size 6 and a size 3-6 months in the same dress from Gymboree!

It was also the first time I hosted Easter Dinner for such a large crowd. 17 People, not including kids! And I survived to blog about it! It actually went off rather smoothly, expect for the fact that the day before I had to go buy some extra place settings because who has 17 place settings?! Not me! The largest group we have ever hosted before was 12, so 17 sounded so scary. I was worried I wouldn't have enough food (actually had a lot left over), that even though our living room and kitchen are very large that people would be crammed (they weren't), and that I wouldn't have enough utensils (I didn't, I ended up having to wash forks and gave the kids plastic- which I despise using unless its a BBQ and this was not a BBQ). Overall it was fun, the food was good, and the kids had a ball. Kay passed out at 8:30 flat after all the running around- and I must say that she is quite the host herself : )

Aw! The girls looked so beautiful! I'm so glad everything went well. I've never cooked for 17 people, so great job!
